Abstract

Clothing is shaped as a consequence of aesthetic, religious, political, economic, social, geographical and cultural accumulations of a society and is transferred from one generation to the next. Each country has different clothing culture and features that distinguish it from other nations.The need for dressing, which initially began to be protected against external factors, was shaped by the difference in civilization levels and lifestyles of societies. When the clothing history is examined, it can be seen that dressing styles from the old times to this day have made many stages. It is known that every nation forms a clothing style according to its culture and religious belief in its own way. The traditions of clothing in Yafren in Nufuse Mountain vary according to certain days, times, times and traditions. The Amazighlins in Yafren boast traditional clothing, which is a profession he inherited from his grandfather who carries the artistic values of sewing aesthetics and fabric. They have made traditional clothing a characteristic feature that is in harmony with Libyan Islamic cultures and circles. It is a symbol of social. The research aims to examine the model, fabric, color, mold, cut, pattern, sewing techniques and decoration elements of the traditional dress of woman and man in Yafren city.
