Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Kariyer Geleceklerinin Yordayıcıları Olarak Sosyal Duygusal Öğrenme Becerileri ve Kariyer Karar Verme Öz-Yetkinlikleri

Özet

Bu araştırmanın amacı, üniversite öğrencilerinin sosyal duygusal öğrenme (SDÖ) becerilerinin ve kariyer karar verme öz-yetkinliklerinin (KKVÖY) kariyer geleceklerini (KG) yordama güçlerini belirlemektir.Çalışma grubuna 263 (187 kadın, 76 erkek; X̄yaş=24.3) üniversite öğrencisi katılmıştır. Veriler Sosyal Duygusal Öğrenme Ölçeği-Genç Yetişkin Formu, Karar Verme Öz-Yetkinlik Ölçeği ve Kariyer Geleceği Ölçeği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Verilere uygulanan çoklu doğrusal regresyon analizi sonuçları, sosyal duygusal öğrenme becerileri ve kariyer karar verme öz-yetkinlik toplam puanlarının birlikte kariyer geleceği puanlarına ilişkin toplam varyansın   %31’ini açıkladığını göstermiştir. Sosyal duygusal öğrenme becerileri, kariyer geleceğinin en güçlü yordayıcısı (β=.32) olup kariyer karar verme öz-yetkinliği de kariyer geleceği toplam puanlarını anlamlı olarak yordamıştır (β=.29).Bulgular, üniversite öğrencilerinin sosyal duygusal öğrenme becerileri ve kariyer karar verme öz-yetkinliklerinin kariyer geleceklerinde etkili olduğunu göstermiştir.Araştırma bulguları, ilgili literatüre dayanılarak tartışılmıştır. Araştırmanın sınırlılıkları belirtilmiş, gelecekteki teorik ve uygulamalı araştırmalar ve  üniversitelerin kariyer gelişim merkezlerinde yapılabilecek çalışmalar için öneriler sunulmuştur.
