Türkiye’de Sigorta Suistimallerinin Mevcut Durumu: 2016-2018 Yılları Arası SİSBİS Verileri Üzerinden İnceleme (The Current Status of Insurance Abuses in Turkey:Examination from 2016- 2018 Interval Data)

Insurance fraud is a type of offense that may be involved in any act or organization that is involved in dealing with regulated insurance policies. Insurance abuses can be made with many different methods. Insurance fraud causes significant losses in the insurance sector. In order to minimize these losses, Insurance Frauds Information Sharing System, which is the most important unit of Turkish insurance sector in the fight against abuses, continues its activities with increasing day by day. In this study, the Insurance Information Sharing System Abuse current state of the insurance abuses in Turkey in the light of data from the years 2016-2018 were discussed and opinions in order to be reduced to the minimum level of abuses and suggestions are presented.
