Antagonistik Kişilik ve Siber Güvenlik Farkındalığı: Bilinçli Farkındalık ve Sosyal Medya Bağımlılığının Aracı Rolü

Abstract

Sosyal medyanın gündelik yaşama giderek daha fazla entegre olması, kullanıcıların siber güvenlik farkındalığına (SGF) yönelik kaygıları artırmış ve güvenli çevrimiçi davranışlarla ilişkili bireysel düzeydeki psikolojik faktörlerin belirlenmesi gerekliliğini ortaya koymuştur. Bu çalışmada, antagonistik kişilik özellikleri (narsisizm, Makyavelizm ve psikopati), bilinçli farkındalık, sosyal medya bağımlılığı (SMA) ve SGF arasındaki doğrudan ve dolaylı ilişkiler incelenmiştir. Veriler, aktif sosyal medya kullanan yetişkinlerden oluşan bir örneklemden (N = 330; %47.6 kadın; Mage = 44.36) geçerliği kanıtlanmış özbildirim ölçekleri kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Yol analizi sonuçları, psikopatinin yalnızca kadınlarda SGF ile negatif yönde ilişkili olduğunu göstermiştir. Bilinçli farkındalık, toplam örneklemde SMA aracılığıyla SGF ile anlamlı bir dolaylı ilişki sergilerken, bilinçli farkındalık ile SGF arasındaki doğrudan pozitif ilişki yalnızca erkeklerde ortaya çıkmıştır. Makyavelizm, hem toplam örneklemde hem de erkek alt örnekleminde bilinçli farkındalık aracılığıyla SGF ile dolaylı ve negatif yönde ilişkili bulunmuş; ancak bu dolaylı yol anlamlı bir toplam etkiye dönüşmemiştir. Benzer biçimde, narsisizm toplam örneklemde SMA aracılığıyla SGF ile negatif bir dolaylı ilişki göstermiş, ancak SGF üzerindeki genel etkisi anlamlı değildir. Bu bulgular, kişilik özellikleri, bilinçli farkındalık ve SMA’nın siber güvenlik farkındalığı ile ilişkilerinin karmaşık ve cinsiyete özgü yollar üzerinden şekillendiğini ortaya koymakta ve daha güvenli çevrimiçi davranışlara yönelik önemli çıkarımlar sunmaktadır.
