Individuals’ search for meaning in their lives has directed them to align their individual goals with their desires, wishes, needs, and expectations. In this direction, the concept of life craft is a product of individuals’ efforts to become more active in their lives and particularly expresses individuals’ assuming a conscious and active role in terms of coping with stress and being able to ensure subjective well-being and life satisfaction. It is thought that the concept of life craft, which is a relatively recent concept, will be a concept that will be discussed increasingly more under today’s conditions in which uncertainty and stress increase day by day. In this context, in this research the concept of life craft was addressed and the Turkish adaptation of the scale consisting of 9 items and 3 dimensions developed by Chen et al. (2022) for this concept was carried out. Within the scope of the adaptation study, data obtained from two different samples, namely Study 1 and Study 2, were used. In Study 1, preliminary validity and reliability analyses of the scale were conducted with 182 data obtained from non-working individuals over the age of 18. In Study 2, complementary analyses regarding the scale adaptation were carried out with 171 data obtained from adults over the age of 18 working in the service sector. The analyses of the data were conducted with SPSS and AMOS package programs. From the findings obtained, it was observed that the scale consisting of 9 items and 3 dimensions, as in the original, met the reliability and validity criteria. Therefore, it was concluded that the scale can be used in studies in Türkiye in terms of its psychometric properties.
