Sportif Rekreasyonel Aktiviteye Katılımın Psikolojik Sağlamlık ve Stresle Başa Çıkma Üzerine Etkisi: Bir Yapısal Eşitlik Modeli

Özet

Bu araştırmanın amacı sağlık çalışanlarında sportif rekreasyonel aktiviteye katılımın psikolojik sağlamlık ve stresle başa çıkma üzerine etkisinin incelenmesidir. Araştırma grubunu yaş ortalaması 36,8 ± 9,19 olan ve Doğu Anadolu bölgesinde aktif olarak görev yapan 383 sağlık çalışanı oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak, araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulan kişisel bilgi formu, Ertüzün ve ark., (2013) tarafından geliştirilen Sportif Rekreasyonel Aktivitelere İlişkin Sağlık İnanç Ölçeği, Smith ve ark. (2008) tarafından geliştirilen ve Doğan (2015) tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanan Kısa Psikolojik Sağlamlık Ölçeği ve Lazarus ve Folkman (1980) tarafından geliştirilen Şahin ve Durak (1995) tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanan Stresle Başa Çıkma Tarzları Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada hipotezleri doğrultusunda ‘fiziksel aktiviteye katılım (fiziksel yarar ve psikososyal yarar)’ bağımsız değişken, ‘psikolojik sağlamlık ve stres (problem çözme)’ bağımlı değişken olarak belirlenmiştir. Bu çerçevede hipotezler belirlenmiş ve veriler Spss ve Amos programları kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Ölçeklerin faktör yapılarının kuramsal modele uygunluğunu test etmek ve ölçme modelinin geçerliğini doğrulamak amacıyla Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, araştırmaya dâhil edilen alt faktörler arasında düşük ve orta düzeyde ilişkiler tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca fiziksel yarar ve psikososyal yararın psikolojik sağlamlık ve problem çözme düzeyini anlamlı ve pozitif bir biçimde açıkladığı görülmüştür.
