The aim of this study is to determine the levels of subjective vitality and life satisfaction of adults who participate in recreational water sports. A total of 118 adults, including 65 women and 53 men, took part in the study. The mean age of the participants was 36.90±10.11 years. A personal information form, the Subjective Vitality Scale, and the Satisfaction with Life Scale were used as data collection tools. In the analysis of the data, t-test and Pearson correlation analysis were employed. According to the analysis results, no statistically significant difference was found in subjective vitality and life satisfaction levels of the participants with respect to gender and marital status variables. A positive and significant relationship was found between participants’ subjective vitality and life satisfaction scores. It was determined that adults who regularly engage in water sports had high mean subjective vitality scores and life satisfaction scores. These findings indicate that gender and marital status are not variables that create differences in the subjective vitality and life satisfaction levels of adults participating in water sports. Therefore, participation in recreational water sports can be considered an important factor supporting adults’ subjective vitality and life satisfaction, and this effect appears to be independent of gender and marital status.
