Abstract

It is believed that Turkish women and Turkish men are linked, and that women have played a significant role in Turkish history. Accepting women as distinct from their men or as being excluded from society may not be appropriate. Additionally, among the primary qualities of Turkish women are battle, war, and winning. This struggle is in the hands of some with weapons, in the language of some with words, in the pen of some with writing, in the brush of others. When Turkish history is examined at, it can be seen that Turkish women play the role of an exemplary woman who raises children for her homeland when necessary, who enlists as a quarry private if she is left without a husband, who manages the state when necessary, who fights, and defends her lands and homeland. Tomris Hatun was the first female head of state to make history. Tomris, the Scythians' new leader in 529 BC, used her army of women to great success. The first Turkish woman to become famous for her bravery and heroism was Tomris Hatun, known as the Khan of the Turks. Nene Hatun, Halide Edip Adıvar, Sabiha Gökçen, and many other Turkish women, in addition to Tomris, are just a few of the Turkish women who made an impact on Turkish history via their intelligence, bravery, and beauty. The Manas saga idealizes the Turkish woman as an Alpine-type strong woman who does not flee from battle and possesses a sense of nationalism and patriotism. The woman in the Manas tale is a self- sacrificing, honorable, battling, hunting, and raiding hero in addition to the Alpine type. Data for the study were collected using the scanning model, and a descriptive approach was used to analyze the data. On the basis of form and substance, the works of the artists who made Tomris Hatun, the first female ruler, the subject of works of art, were examined. Consequently, it is hoped that the studies that were looked at would add to the body of writing in the field of art.
