The population growing fastly in Istanbul causes destroying history, nature, beauties of the city. Moreover it causes dead of nature beauties and history. The population in Istanbul in 1950 was 1.166.477. But the population increased and reached 14.657.437.The growth of population in istanbul have been source of many problems. Especially, it has been changed in administrative structure of the city in order to solve the problems in administrative area. In the study, it has been aimed to show the growth of populationin Istanbul and the topography of districts. The growth of population in İstanbul and topography of districts.
